The kids had the day off from school yesterday, and we needed something fun to do. Every month I get the Family Fun magazine, and there are a lot of fun craft ideas. In the February edition (http://jas.familyfun.go.com/arts-and-crafts?page=CraftDisplay&craftid=12122), they had the idea of making candy necklaces. The kids really liked it, plus there is so many fun Valentine candy to use. The older kids were able to do a lot, but I still had to help out. The key to making it an enjoyable activity is to have everything precut and ready before they sit down at the table. Have fun!
